Trading and Safety Precautions relating to COVID-19
We find ourselves in the middle of a pandemic, with trying times ahead.
As an SME, our small staff complement rely entirely on their salaries, and thus on us remaining afloat. For this reason, EcoPack will continue to trade during this time. Whilst we realise the importance of the Coronavirus pandemic being declared a National State of Disaster, we are committed to finding a way forward together, while we have the opportunity to do so.
We encourage orders to be placed online or via email, and will gladly assist with questions or queries over the phone or email.
While our office and warehouse remain open, we are running on skeleton staff, having offered staff who have children, and those who are able to work remotely, the option to do so. We have increased our internal hygiene practices, with all offices having hygiene sprays, and all employees equipped with hand sanitiser. There is also sanitiser available at reception. We are conducting regular wipe downs of all door handles on the entry/exit path to our office. We will not partake in physical handshaking or greetings at this time.
We are encouraging all customers to make use of our delivery options during this time. Our couriers have upped their hygiene protocols and we urge you all to do the same. In the same thread, we ask that cash payments be avoided wherever possible, and that Snapscan and EFT payments become the preferred method of payment. Should cash be necessary, please ensure hands are washed and/or sanitised before and after handling.
As we all prepare to help prevent the spread of COVID-19, we need to support our local businesses while they are adapting and providing alternative services during this time. Find out which of your local grocery stores, cafés or restaurants are offering curb-side pickups or delivery. Enjoy an amazing meal in the safety of your home and support local businesses simultaneously. By washing your hands regularly, disinfecting all surfaces around your home or workspace and practicing social distancing or self-isolation, we can all help to limit the spread of this virus and “flatten the curve”.
